Once more the International Network for European Studies invites all members and everybody who is interested to its annual lecture series. This year’s discussions deal with “Europe in a New Global Order”. Lectures and debates with experts and young professionals will be held in Berlin, Frankfurt/Oder, Magdeburg and Bremen.
The series starts this week in Berlin. The EU-Africa Strategy as well as Germany`s Africa-Policy under a new national government are focal points of the evening. Political and economical aspects of this multidimensional partnership will be of relevance throughout the discussion.
Under the headline “EU-Africa Relations – Perspectives for an Equal Partnership”, two speakers will share their knowledge: Mr. Dag Zimen of the “German Africa Foundation” and Dr. Ulrich Golaszinski of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
The event will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 18th 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the building of the Humboldt Universität Berlin, Luisenstraße 56, 10117 Berlin. Everybody interested in Africa is very welcome and we are looking forward to the beginning of the lecture series.
